After a vacation lasting a whole year singing in the choir for children. The singer sang in any 30-mile radius, including at churches, restaurants and family occasions. Alaina participated at her first Southern Stars Pageant at 8 and was crowned the winner. In the following year, she was asked to perform on the festival's Riverbend Kids talent stage. This festival permitted her to compete on its main stage when she was 12 after she had played there for the past few years. At the age of ten, she travelled from Orlando, Florida for the American Model and Talent Competition. She defeated 1500 competitors to take the title. Alaina was a singer with the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association's youth group. Aged 12, Alaina made her first of many trips to Nashville. She was a regular at Tootsie's bar, and many other bars along Broadway. Alaina was the first winner of Lake Winnepesaukah's WinniSTAR Youth Talent Competition in 2009. She composed and performed various songs, such as Leaving the House, and set Me Free, as well. Alaina the cousin of Holly Witherow with a brain cancer tumor, encouraged her to begin singing. Her first gig was with CiC Pizza. She graduated from Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe Senior High School in Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
