Ashley Jones
Ashley Aubra Jones, born on September 3, 1976, in the US, is an American actress. She's had a range of soap opera characters, such as Megan Dennison in The Young and the Restless and Bridget Forrester in The Bold and the Beautiful. Also, she performed the regular role as Daphne on the second series of the HBO drama series True Blood. Ashley Jones received a Bachelor of Human Learning for K-8 at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1997. She began her professional career as an educator within Maury County where she taught students in Kindergarten and First Grade Reading. She got married Brent Jones, her UT Martin lover, and relocated from Thompsons Station in 1998. She began her teaching career in 4th level in Bethesda Elementary. In 1999 and 2000 she continued on to teach while completing her masters of instruction through Trevecca Nazarene University but stepped away from teaching when the family welcomed their son Baylor into the family in the year 2000. Ashley has served for 15 years in her church, community and children. Ashley has served as one of the leaders for the Preschool Ministry and also in Students Ministry for over 13 years. As Ashley was at home with her kids, they went through three years homeschooling. As they homeschooled, students attended a class where Ashley was a teacher of History at the beginning of Kindergarten and in First Grade. Although she loved homeschooling, as well as spending time with her kids God evidently showed her family the need to return full-time school. Brent and Ashley have 5 children each. Silas Eliza Cruz and Cruz and Cruz GCA students. Baylor who is one of the GCA graduated, is a student at UT Martin and is a baseball player at UT Martin. Callan is a GCA graduate, also goes to Western Kentucky University. The family is very involved and is fond of fishing, hunting and supporting their friends in sporting events.
